Subscription Billing
The Birdian operates on a subscription model (billed monthly or annually) to support our independent journalism. Billing occurs at the start of each cycle, ensuring you have uninterrupted access to our stories, field notes, and digital editions.
How to Cancel
You are free to leave the flock at any time. Simply navigate to your 'Account Settings' on our site to manage or cancel your membership. Cancellations are effective immediately for future billing cycles; there are no hidden fees or exit penalties.
Refunds & Fairness
To keep our independent operations simple and fair for everyone, we generally do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial membership months. However, if you believe a technical error has occurred with your payment, please let us know—we are committed to resolving billing issues transparently.
Post-Cancellation Access
Once you cancel, your access remains active until the end of your prepaid billing period. Any digital editions or art assets you have previously downloaded as part of your membership are yours to keep permanently.
